Only one subscription is necessary to cover all users within a school. The subscription is managed by one person who can invite other users. Carline Hound is designed specifically for school administrators.

To utilize the app, each car rider family must be assigned a number. A spreadsheet in XLSX format with car line rider names, numbers, and associated teachers is uploaded to the app.

Upon arrival at the car rider carline, cars should clearly display their assigned number. In the case of carpools picking up multiple families, all respective numbers should be displayed. A designated "walker" records these numbers on the "Walker" screen of the app. Up to four carpool numbers can be entered per vehicle.

Meanwhile, the Marshal is stationed in the assembly area, monitoring the "Marshal" view. As the walker progresses down the car rider line, numbers and corresponding names appear on the "Marshal" view. When students are lined up and ready to proceed to the cars, the Marshal dismisses a group, causing the next group to appear on the "Marshal" view. This process continues until all students have been dismissed.

The third view is the "Classroom View," which displays upcoming students for each teacher's specific classroom. Teachers refer to this view to determine when to send a car rider to the assembly point. As the Marshal dismisses groups, the "Classroom View" advances accordingly.

The final view is the "Large Display," which showcases upcoming groups of students. This view is intended for broadcasting on a large screen using Apple Airplay mirroring or as a presentation. It enables everyone in the room to watch and prepare for dismissal. The "Large Display" also advances as groups are dismissed by the Marshal.
